The job supports the Channel development manager to manage and assume overall responsibility and success of the shops by driving sales and managing the operational aspects of each store whilst minimizing costs.
In addition, the jobholder will have to Train the store staff and animate activities in the store to ensure the store makes its required Revenue.
Duties & Responsibilities
Rollout and manage set up of the required stores with all product categories listed
Implementation of the Retail POS and ensure 100% of the sales done are reported
Overseeing overall performance of the stores and ensuring the team at the store achieves the set targets
HR management at the stores
Animation of activities at the store
Store standards and cleanliness maintained
Merchandising and outlet layout maintained
Ensuring all Policies and procedures for the stores are maintained
Responsible for ensuring customer service initiatives are in place and dealing with issues quickly
Coach, Train, challenge, motivate, encourage and provide constructive guidance to store managers and the team related to all areas of effective operations
Desired Experience & Qualification
University degree with a Financial or Marketing qualification.
At least 5 years’ experience in a business with High range product management eg chain of super markets
Good understanding of ERP or POS system for both front office and back office will be of added advantage
