To realize production objectives of a section in the production department by conformance to product specifications/standards and effective staff management.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Management of staff according to company policies and principles.
- Maintenance and management/operation of preparation and processing equipment
- Manufacturing of jam products according to plan, scheduling and specifications.
- Support/drive implementation of workplace improvement programs, eg 20 Keys and OIM principles.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum qualifications required by the position:
Grade 12; Mechanical maintenance qualification; Supervisory qualification, eg TMA.
Minimum experience required by the position:
-Three years experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor/Team leader; management of subordinates (human skills); experience in the mechanical maintenance of equipment.
